Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas features a total of three high-speed water slides, collectively known as "The Perfect Storm." This trio consists of two racing slides called Typhoon and Cyclone, and a third "champagne bowl" slide named Supercell, which swirls riders around a large funnel before dropping them through a central hole. These slides are located on Deck 18 and are visible from Central Park, as they feature clear sections that allow you to see the ship ten decks below while you slide. It is important to note that Symphony of the Seas also features the Ultimate Abyss, which is the tallest slide at sea. However, the Ultimate Abyss is a "dry" slide—you ride on a mat rather than in water—dropping 10 stories from the Pool and Sports Zone down to the Boardwalk. While it doesn't use water, it is often grouped with the "slides" on board. For younger children, there is also the "Splashaway Bay" water park, which contains several smaller, kid-friendly slides and water features, bringing the total number of sliding experiences on the ship even higher.
