How much are Atlantis resort fees?

Although Atlantis Bahamas is not an all-inclusive resort, it offers guests a wide range of services as part of its full-service accommodations. The resort fee for new reservations is $64.90 per room per night for The Coral and The Royal and $77.00 per room per night for The Reef Atlantis and The Cove Atlantis.

That’s an excellent question, but it requires a specific answer because “Atlantis” is not a single resort with one fee.

There are two primary, separate Atlantis resorts owned by the same company, and their resort fees differ significantly:

1. Atlantis, Paradise Island (Bahamas)

This is the massive, iconic resort in The Bahamas. Its resort fee is called a “Mandatory Daily Charge.”

  • What it includes:
    • Access to Aquaventure water park (slides, rivers, pools)
    • Access to The Dig aquarium and marine habitats
    • Fitness center access
    • Kids club (for specified ages)
    • Wi-Fi in guest rooms and most public areas
    • Local and toll-free calls
    • No resort fee for additional guests in the room.

Important Note: This fee is charged even if you book through a third-party site (like Expedia). It is almost always added at check-in or during the booking process on the official site.

2. Atlantis, The Royal (Bahamas)

This is the newer, ultra-luxury resort next to the original Atlantis on Paradise Island. Its fee structure is different and is called a “Service Amenity Fee.”

  • Current Rate (2024): $120 per night, per room (plus 12% Bahamian VAT tax).
  • What it includes (more premium offerings):
    • All inclusions from the original Atlantis (Aquaventure,
