How much did the Ark experience cost?

The $120 million Ark Encounter, where adult tickets cost $48, was completed in 2016, with a zoo, zip lines, and a restaurant in addition to its five-story high replica ark. It was the brainchild of Ken Ham and his ministry, Answers in Genesis, which also created the Creation Museum.

The website says visitors can easily spend a whole day visiting the attraction or at least 5-6 hours “to take in the entire experience at a leisurely pace.”

You are able to leave the Ark Encounter and reenter on the same day. Take the shuttle bus back to the parking lot and your specially colored wristband will allow you to regain entry. The Ark is wheelchair- and stroller-friendly.

The Ark Encounter like many attractions is more busy during the weekends. If possible visit during the weekdays. But if you cannot weekends are fine. We visited on Memorial Day weekend 2023 and although it was busy in some areas the crowds were able to spread out to the many attractions.

We recommend going to the Creation Museum FIRST if you buy a 2-day pass. I recommended this to a coworker for her Spring Break trip this year and she said that was really helpful. The botanical gardens in the summer must be very pretty and the connection to dinosaurs and dragons was interesting.
