As of Feb. 1, 2023, the ability to bring in two guests at no additional cost went away for most cardholders. American Express Centurion Lounges are for the day of departure only. This means you can enter the lounge up to three hours before you depart on your flight or during a layover between flights within the same airport.

How can I find out if my issuer provides me with complimentary lounge visits? If your issuer provides complimentary lounge visits, there will be a “Complimentary Visit” section under My Information on the app and under My Account on the web. If you do not have any complimentary visits, this section will not display.
