Is there free parking at the Ark Encounter? No parking is not free but they have a large parking lot and nice buses to drive you to the park. It is $15 for standard vehicles.

You can easily spend at least a whole day visiting the Ark, the Ararat Ridge Zoo, enjoying a meal, and catching one of our dynamic, world-class speakers at the Answers Center. It will take 5–6 hours to take in the entire experience at a leisurely pace.

The Ark Encounter is open year-round, with slightly reduced hours during the winter months. The attraction can be quite busy, especially during holidays and weekends. To avoid the crowds, it's advisable to visit during weekdays or early in the morning.
The two locations are just under an hour away from each other so it would be tricky to do both in one day. Seeing the actually size of the ark in person is really impressive and awe inspiring.
