How much does it cost to ride the Skyliner?

And one of the best parts about the Disney skyliner is it is absolutely free to ride. Just like the Disney World monorail and bus services you do not need a ticket or have to pay to ride.

The Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World Resort is completely free to ride. In 2026, it remains a complimentary part of Disney's transportation network, much like the monorails and bus systems. You do not need a park ticket, a hotel reservation, or a special pass to board. The system connects EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios to several resorts, including Disney's Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, and Art of Animation. While it is free, keep in mind that the system occasionally closes for routine maintenance; for example, it was closed for refurbishment in late January 2026. Because it offers a unique, bird's-eye view of the property and runs continuously, many guests ride it simply for the scenery or to "resort hop" for dining. It is a highly efficient way to travel, typically taking only 5 to 15 minutes between stations, and is accessible to all guests visiting the Walt Disney World property.

Note that the Skyliner is entirely FREE to ride for all guests. You won't be able to access it unless you get to one of its stations, so that could cause some barriers. But you don't need to be staying at one of the hotels on the Skyliner lines to use the service.

Anyone can ride the Skyliner; you don't have to be staying at a Disney Resort. Probably the easiest way to catch a ride on the Skyliner (if you aren't staying at a resort with a station or if you are staying offsite) is to board at either Hollywood Studios or Epcot.
