We charge a fee for every Additional Driver we allow to drive the vehicle. The price depends on the location you're renting from, but you can expect it to be between 11.23 € and 22.00 € per day, per driver.

In Spain, the Avis additional driver fee typically ranges between €10.00 and €15.00 per day, depending on the specific rental location and the category of the vehicle. There is usually a "maximum cap" per rental, often set around €100.00 to €150.00, meaning if you rent for more than 10 days, you won't continue to be charged for the additional driver. It is important to note that these fees are subject to 21% VAT (IVA). However, there are ways to waive this fee: if you are a member of the Avis Preferred loyalty program, you can often add a spouse or domestic partner as a second driver for free. Additionally, certain corporate rates or "all-inclusive" holiday packages booked through travel agents may have the fee already built into the price.
