Tickets can be purchased online on the website and on the app. Also, you can buy your ticket in situ by cash (maximum change 20 euros) or credit card at ticket vending machines distributed in Pl. Catalunya and in the Airport T1 and T2, from our bus stop staff located at the stops and on board of the bus.
Single ticketA one-way public transport journey in Barcelona costs € 2.40 ( US$ 2.50) and is only valid for a one-way journey without any transfers between the various means of transportation.
A: Where to purchase your bus tickets: The tickets for the Aerobuses running from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Barcelona Airport (A1 and A2 Aerobuses) can be purchased on the buses themselves or at the ticket vending machines which are close to the Aerobus stops.
Train from Barcelona airportThe train, operated by Renfe, is the cheapest way to get to Barcelona from the airport and can have you in reach of the action in around 25 minutes. Happily, the station is just three minutes' walk from Terminal 2.
You can buy tickets from the machines in front of the bus stop (pay in cash or with a credit card), from the bus driver (pay in cash, please have the right amount of money ready) or online in advance.
You purchase the Barcelona Card for the number of days you intend to use it. You can also use the Barcelona Card on the RENFE train to and from Barcelona Airport to Barcelona city centre. You can also use it on the TMB airport bus. It is not valid on the Aerobus (Express airport bus).
At each station of the metro and FGC, you can buy tickets either at ticket machines or ticket booths. The machines can also be operated in English. In the bus you can only buy single tickets from the driver. With the tickets bought on the bus you can change to other buses, but not to the metro.
