Ride Reservation Refills Aren't GuaranteedFor some rides, Lightning Lane reservations are typically refilled multiple times throughout the day, while other attractions only rarely get a return window boost. It depends on guest demand, which can vary substantially depending on the season or even from day to day.
Individual Lightning Lanes allow you to skip most of the line for a much shorter wait time for the park's most in-demand rides, but these are purchased a la carte and not included with a purchase of Disneyland Genie+. There is a limit of 2 attractions per day for purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes.
All guests, regardless of where they stay, are limited to a maximum of two pay-per-ride attractions per day and can only book a particular ride once per day. What about Annual Passholders? Annual Passholders will need to purchase Genie+ on the day(s) of their visit.

Can Genie+ sell out? Yes.It can. Although it isn't common, we've seen it happen a few times during busier times of the year (like over the holidays and Spring Break).
If that window is over two hours away, you can book another even before you use the first two. So you might have three Lightning Lanes lines stacked up in your app for the afternoon or evening. We use stacking a little before we hop to the afternoon park.
If you logon right around 7AM and see Individual Lightning Lanes have sold out, keep trying. Not everyone who immediately secures a time will go all the way through with payment. Similarly, if there's availability just before the park opens that disappears as the park opens, keep trying for the same reason.
As a general rule of thumb Disney Lightning Lane passes for the most popular rides at each of the Disney World theme parks can sell out within minutes after the 7:00 AM release time. This is especially true when travelling to Walt Disney World during one of the busier times of year such as the summer or the Holidays.

You can purchase Genie+ day by day on each day of your trip using the My Disney Experience app. Genie+ is available for purchase when the clock strikes midnight on the day of your visit, but you don't need to stay up late (instead, just wake up about 15 minutes early to secure it before the 7 a.m. selection process).

How does Disneyland Genie Plus work? Genie+ allows guests to skip the line at the included attractions, once per ride per day. You can begin making your Genie+ reservations once you have entered the park for the day. You can make your selections across all of the theme parks if you have a Park Hopper ticket.
On the Disney Genie+ Service webpage that I linked, it does indicate that on average guests experience about two to three attractions per day with Lightening Lanes using Disney Genie+ Service. However, this is an average, and as long as you stay within the guidelines I mentioned above, you are good to go!
