How often does the monorail run from EPCOT?

During busy times — Park opening and Park closing — the Monorail trains run about every ten minutes. If they are fully efficient, waits may even be shorter than that. During less busy times — or when Monorails encounter delays — wait times can increase substantially.

You can take the monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom, there is a monorail station right outside the main entrance to Epcot. However it is much faster to take a bus. Taking the monorail, you need to transfer between Epcot and MK. When we did this there was a very long wait at the transfer station.

The Epcot Monorail runs from 8am until 2 hours after regular hours park closing. The Express Monorail schedule begins 30 minutes prior to Magic Kingdom opening until 1 hour after regular hours park closing. To simplify things, you may want to get to the Magic Kingdom area hotels (Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary) and hop amongst them.
