How tall do you have to be to ride face off at Kings Island?

Rider Safety Information An inverted looping roller coaster that turns riders upside down 3 times both forward and backward. Riders will experience high speeds, weightlessness, and rapid movements from side to side. Guests must be between 54 tall AND 78 tall to ride.

To ride the attraction formerly known as "Face/Off" (which was renamed Invertigo in 2008) at Kings Island, you must be at least 54 inches (137 cm) tall. This height requirement is strictly enforced because the ride is a "Vekoma Invertigo" model, a shuttle coaster where passengers sit back-to-back and travel through three inversions both forward and backward. The 54-inch minimum ensures that the over-the-shoulder restraint system can properly secure the rider's torso and prevent excessive head movement during the high-G-force maneuvers. In 2026, Invertigo remains a popular "thrill" attraction in the Action Zone area of the park. It is also important to note that the ride has a maximum height limit of 78 inches (198 cm) to ensure that taller riders' legs do not come into contact with the station or ride structure, as it is an "inverted" coaster where your feet dangle freely throughout the high-speed experience.
