How tall do you need to be to ride Slinky Dog?

Slinky Dog Dash has a height restriction of 38 inches or 97 cm. The nearest restrooms are located directly across from the entrance of Alien Swirling Saucers.

To ride Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests must be at least 38 inches (97 cm) tall. This family-friendly multi-launch coaster is designed to be a "step up" from the very small kiddie rides, offering a thrill that is accessible to most preschool-aged children while still being exciting for adults. Because it is one of the most popular attractions in the park, the height requirement is strictly enforced by Cast Members at the entrance and again before you board. If a child is close to the limit, they will be asked to stand against a measuring pole; they must be able to touch the bar without standing on their tiptoes or wearing high-soled shoes. If your child doesn't quite meet the requirement, you can utilize Disney's Rider Switch service, which allows one adult to wait with the non-riding child while the rest of the party rides, and then the adults can swap places without waiting in the full line a second time.

Hi, we have taken our son on it every time since he was about 4, he's 10 now and he really likes it. I felt like I had to keep hold of him as being so slight the first time I thought he was going to come out of the seat, he obviously didn't, but does come off the seat more than the rest of us!! Enjoy.
