The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas is a half-scale replica of the original masterpiece in France. The Las Vegas version stands at 540 feet (165 meters) tall. In contrast, the original Eiffel Tower in Paris stands at approximately 1,083 feet (330 meters), including its various antennas. Interestingly, the Las Vegas tower was originally planned to be full-scale, but the proximity to Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran) forced architects to scale it down by exactly 50% to comply with FAA flight path safety regulations. Despite being half the size, it remains one of the most recognizable and photographed landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip.
