How to get free night with Hilton?

Earn a free night reward after you spend $15,000 on eligible purchases on your card in a calendar year. Earn a second night reward after you spend an additional $45,000 on eligible purchases on your card in the same calendar year. Gold. Receive one free night reward with your card and every year after renewal.

Getting a free night with Hilton in 2026 is primarily achieved through the Hilton Honors loyalty program. The most common method is by redeeming points earned from hotel stays, which typically range from 5,000 to 120,000 points per night depending on the property. Another high-value way is through "Free Night Rewards" granted by premium credit cards, such as the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, which often gives an annual free night upon renewal. Additionally, Hilton frequently offers a "5th Night Free" benefit for Silver, Gold, and Diamond members who book a stay of five nights or more using only points. You can also look for "promotional" nights where staying a certain number of times within a specific window (e.g., "Stay 3 nights, get 1 free") triggers a certificate. These certificates are typically delivered via email and can be redeemed for standard double occupancy at most Hilton portfolio properties.
