How to get from Epcot to Hollywood studios?

Skyliner Transportation System The Disney Skyliner System will take you in an aerial gondola to and from Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Opening in 2019, the Skyliner is located right outside Epcot's International Gateway and glides you to the entrance/exit at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which includes transfers.

As of 2026, there are four main ways to travel between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The most popular is the Disney Skyliner, which involves exiting Epcot’s International Gateway, taking a gondola to the Caribbean Beach hub, and transferring to the Hollywood Studios line (roughly 15–20 minutes). For a more direct route, the Friendship Boats depart from the same International Gateway and stop at various Boardwalk resorts before reaching Hollywood Studios (about 25–30 minutes). If you prefer to be active, there is a 1.2-mile walking path along the water that takes about 20–25 minutes; it is often the most reliable way during peak "Skyliner" lines. Finally, for those at the front of Epcot, a direct bus service runs between the two park entrances, though it usually only begins operating after 10:00 AM to facilitate "Park Hopping."

The ride from this station to Disney's Hollywood Studios is about five minutes. To be safe, I would recommend budgeting at least 30 minutes to get to your destination. If the Skyliner lines are long, you can also walk to Hollywood Studios- it may not be as fun, but the trip would only take you 15-20 minutes.

Hollywood Studios is not directly accessible by the Walt Disney World Monorail. Conceivably, a guest could take the Monorail from the TTC to EPCOT, walk across the park to the International Gateway, then either walk or take a Friendship Boat to the Studios, though this would take a long time.
