Cairo Airport has 3 terminals, called T1, T2, and T3. T1 and T2/T3 are located about 1.8 miles apart, with an automated people mover and shuttle bus available to carry passengers between them. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes, so it's easy to make an airport transfer.
