Where is the drive-through tree? There are no trees in the parks you can drive through. However, there are three coast redwoods you may drive through in California. One is a few minutes drive from middle of the park - in Klamath.

All the redwood parks can be visited year-round. Spring is the best time overall, especially from April through June. The woods are at their most lush and green, until Memorial Day the parks aren't too crowded, and all the trails and roads are usually open.

There is no shuttle service in Redwood National and State Parks. The best way to get around these parks is by driving, either in your vehicle or a rental car. In the summer, trailhead parking can fill up for popular trails like Fern Canyon.

The Coastal Redwoods are the tallest trees in the world and are certainly amazing to see. However, I would still consider Sequoia the more impressive of the two parks. Sequoia trees are almost as tall as the Coastal Redwoods, but are much larger in width.
