How walkable is the Las Vegas Strip?

The Strip is very busy. There are typically around 37,000 cars in the area. The sidewalks alone see up to 41,000 people per hour during peak times. However, the sidewalks are pedestrian-friendly, so there's no reason why you can't enjoy a stroll and take a look around at the various attractions.

Sam's Town Shuttle: Free The multi-stop Sam's Town shuttle is an excellent method of transportation between several hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, Fremont Street and other off-Strip hotels. There are five journeys between downtown hotels and the Strip. Sorry, no airport shuttles here.

Stick to crowded tourist areas There are several slums directly outside the Strip and Fremont Street with plenty of gang activity. You cannot rely on these streets to be monitored or patrolled by the police. The Strip is located on Las Vegas Boulevard and runs from Mandalay Bay up to The Stratosphere.

You can take The Deuce bus line to stops at the following locations to catch the Downtown Loop or to exit the Downtown Loop and return back to the Strip on The Deuce: The Mob Museum.

I carry little or no cash to Vegas other than some $1 and $5 bills for tipping. The only other thing cash I need there is for gambling and I use casino ATMs for that, aware of and budgeting for whatever fee may be involved. Any other expenses get charged to my room or paid for by credit card.

It is an entertaining area with lots to see and do and is definitely worth a visit. Fun people, crazy people, partying, gambling, drinking, street performers, free music and light shows, zip lining and just having a good time... that's what you expect at Freemont. Highly recommended, it is always a good time.

Casinos in Las Vegas ( in general, in the US) do not have an admission fee. However, you do have to : Not be on the casino's list of people they've banned from their property. Be over 21 years old if you are going to be in the gaming areas.

You don't have to pay to walk around the Bellagio or to enjoy its fountain show or botanical gardens, but you'll need some cash for the restaurants, bars and shops. The Bellagio is open to visitors 24 hours a day.
