How was Angel Falls found?

Angel Falls was discovered by American bush pilot Jimmie Angel on November 16th, 1933. It was a solo flight in Churún Canyon (Devil's Canyon), he was flying a Travel Airs 6000B, powered by a three-hundred horsepower engine.
