Is 2 weeks in Orlando too long?

With so much to see and do in the theme park capital of the world, Orlando is like nowhere else. With incredible shopping malls, unbelievable cuisine and of course, the most amazing theme parks! Two weeks is an ideal amount of time to spend holidaying in Orlando to visit the majority of the attractions.

Two weeks in Orlando is generally considered a luxury of time rather than "too long," provided you plan your itinerary with plenty of "rest days." If you attempt to visit theme parks for 14 days straight, you will likely experience "park fatigue" and physical exhaustion. However, a 14-day trip allows you to explore all four Disney parks, both Universal parks (plus the new Epic Universe), and SeaWorld at a much more relaxed pace, visiting each park multiple times to catch missed shows or re-ride favorites. It also opens up the opportunity for "non-theme park" experiences, such as airboat tours in the Everglades, visiting the Kennedy Space Center, or taking a day trip to the beaches of Clearwater or Cocoa Beach. For families with young children, two weeks is often the "ideal" length because it eliminates the high-stress rush, allowing for lazy mornings by the hotel pool or resort "respite days." If your budget allows for the accommodation costs, 14 days provides a comprehensive and restorative Florida vacation that shorter 5-day "marathon" trips simply cannot offer.
