Abu Dhabi is an incredible city, with lots of unique sights that Dubai can't offer you. I strongly believe every Dubai itinerary should include a visit to Abu Dhabi, even if just for a day trip. Travelling by bus is the cheapest option. Air-conditioned buses connect the two cities, leaving every 15-20 minutes from Dubai's Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. The journey takes around two hours, and then arrives at Abu Dhabi's Al Wahda Bus Station. The cost is the attraction here, costing around 25 AED (€6.4 or $USD6.
