Is Antibes nicer than Nice?

Definitely Nice. More central, more accomodations and restaurants, museums, shopping etc. I've stayed in both Antibes and Nice and prefer Antibes. This is solely due to the fact that I personally like a base that is small and charming but that still has many restaurants and access to transportation.

Antibes is a beautiful town and more centrally placed for visiting places further west on the Riviera but more pricey than Nice. Depending on your budget, you will get more for your money in terms of accommodation in Nice.
