Is Bear Lake Utah worth visiting?

The Caribbean of the Rockies! This is one of the most beautiful bodies of water anywhere, and it's in the middle of nowhere in northern Utah/Idaho. The parks are clean with good amenities for both day trips and overnight camping. Well worth the trip to just look at that water all day!

We went on a Monday and had the 10 am access. The shuttle lot was crowded but it ran efficiently. To be clear Bear Lake itself is nice but would not be worth if it was all you did. The other parts make it look like any of a million alpine lakes.
