Is Bodrum worth going to?

Absolutely! Whether you're making a day trip or have a few days to explore the city, Bodrum is totally worth seeing. After taking the ferry from Greece, it was the perfect introduction to Turkey for us. We had so much fun experiencing the historical side.

Depending on your perspective Antalya probably has more natural sites (excepting the sea which is equally gorgeous) in close proximity. If your say culture beaches and fun then do go to Bodrum. Where the beaches are in Antalya there are mainly All Inclusive hotels, so less nightlife. Bodrum is famous for fun.

If you're eating dinner in Yalikavak Marina you can dress up a bit more and wear a fancier dress and high heels, but this is the only place I would recommend heals. For the rest of Bodrum flat sandals are ideal. For men, during the day, t-shirts, shorts, and sandals are fine.
