That said Jerez is not the best of towns and not the worst - said to have one of the highest crime rates in Europe due to poverty and drug addiction but i didn't feel much of a threat. Cadiz was a more palpable city but save for the old historic centre and beaches not all that much to do.

There are plenty of places to swim in Cadiz! For those staying in the city center, Playa Santa Maria del Mar is an ideal beach to go swimming. The shoreline then continues to consecutive beaches along the coast. Playa de Santibáñez is another great option for swimming, located a few kilometers from city center.

As such, you won't be able to cover everything that there is to do in Seville over the course of 24 hours. With that being said, if one day is all you have in Seville, then it's better to go and get a taste for the city than forgo it altogether. The ideal amount of time to explore Seville is three or four days.

In our opinion, Granada is the better choice if you only have a day or two! After all, it's simply not possible to see everything Seville has to offer in such a short amount of time. However, Seville is definitely worth visiting if you have three days or more.
