Is Dewey or Bethany Beach better?

Bethany Beach is one of the southernmost beaches in Delaware. It's separated from Dewey Beach by the Delaware Seashore State Park. And, unlike Dewey Beach, it's known for a more family-friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Bethany Beach itself is fairly small, but the beach does get crowded in the summer.
