How busy is Disney World in November? November is a fairly good time to visit. In our experience, the crowds are generally Fair (2/5), with the exception of Thanksgiving when it becomes very busy.



November at Disney World and Disneyland is a "tale of two halves," oscillating between moderate crowds and absolute capacity. The beginning of the month and the week before Thanksgiving typically see manageable "moderate" crowds (levels 4–6 out of 10), making it a popular time for fans to enjoy the transition from Halloween to Christmas decor. However, the week of Thanksgiving is notoriously one of the busiest times of the entire year, with parks often reaching capacity and requiring advanced reservations. Additionally, events like the Jersey Week (early November) and the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend can cause temporary spikes in attendance. By 2026, while the "reservation system" has been relaxed for many ticket types, popular dates still sell out weeks in advance. If you avoid the holiday week, you can find a sweet spot of pleasant weather and reasonable wait times.
