Is Disney on Ice worth it for kids?

Is it worth to take a toddler to see Disney on Ice? We've been taking our children since they were 2 and a few months old. We've never had issues with our children watching the entire show. This show is made to keep kids entertained so there's a lot of action, songs they will recognize and many fun surprises.

For most families, Disney on Ice is definitely worth it, especially for children between the ages of 3 and 10. The production value is remarkably high, featuring world-class figure skating, elaborate costumes, and impressive special effects like pyrotechnics and falling "snow." For kids, the excitement of seeing dozens of characters—from Mickey and Minnie to the modern stars of Encanto and Frozen—in a live setting is a magical experience that rivals a visit to the parks. From a parental perspective, the tickets are relatively accessible (often starting around $25–$35), making it a budget-friendly way to get a "Disney fix" without the cost of a full vacation. However, be prepared for the "souvenir trap": light-up wands and themed snacks (like $20 popcorn buckets) can easily double the cost of your outing. If you go, the best strategy is to buy a Disney-themed toy at a retail store beforehand to give to your child during the show, allowing you to enjoy the high-quality entertainment while avoiding the inflated venue prices.
