While certain floors or sections of these Disney Resort hotels are designated as dog-friendly, pets are not allowed in the majority of areas at the hotels. Other than service animals, dogs are not permitted in theme parks, water parks or common areas such as restaurants, pools and recreational spaces.

Luckily for dog owners, January 13-19th, Disney will host Dog Days. This will be a week-long celebration where you can bring your dog with you to any theme park at Walt Disney World. Arrive Early Disneyland opens at 8am most days, you should be at the gate at least 30 minutes prior to open- if not an hour early on busier days of the year. This will allow you to be at the parks for 'rope drop' where you can be first in line at the 'ropes' blocking off each entrance to the lands.
