As of 2026, Disneyland Resort in California does not offer a standard "after 4 PM" discount ticket for the general public. Unlike some smaller regional theme parks, Disneyland requires a full-day ticket regardless of what time you enter. However, there are two main exceptions to this rule. First, Disney often hosts "After Hours" events or "Oogie Boogie Bash" during the Halloween season, which are separately ticketed events that usually allow entry starting around 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM; while these tickets can be cheaper than a standard park hopper, they are for a limited time and often sell out months in advance. Second, Disney sometimes offers "Twilight" tickets specifically for convention attendees who are in Anaheim for business; these are not available to the general public and must be purchased through a specific convention link. For the average tourist, the price for a 1-day ticket is the same whether you arrive at 8:00 AM or 8:00 PM. To save money, Disney recommends purchasing multi-day tickets, which significantly lower the "per day" cost, or looking for "Kids' Summer Ticket" offers which frequently run from May through September.
