Is Disneyland good to visit in November?

It's always a great time to visit Disney theme parks! However, when planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort, expect lower crowds from mid-September through mid-November (before the Thanksgiving break).

November is widely considered one of the best months to visit Disneyland in Anaheim due to its mild, pleasant weather and the transition into the festive holiday season. In 2026, the first half of the month typically sees lower crowd levels, especially on weekdays, before the surge of the Thanksgiving holiday. Most of the park's Christmas decorations and seasonal entertainment, such as the "A Christmas Fantasy" Parade and "Believe... In Holiday Magic" fireworks, officially debut around mid-November. While the evenings can get chilly, the low humidity and lack of significant precipitation make it ideal for long days in the parks. Visitors should aim for the second week of the month to enjoy the full holiday atmosphere without the massive crowds that arrive during the week of Thanksgiving, though some attractions like "it's a small world" may briefly close in early November to complete their holiday overlays.
