Is Edinburgh nicer than London?

You can't really compare these places. London is massive, lots to see and do but as Joe mentioned much easier to get out into some very nice scenery and visit other places from Edinburgh than from London. Edinburgh is generally a lot cheaper accommodation wise than London.
