Is EPCOT Forever coming back?

Disney has announced that EPCOT Forever will return to Walt Disney World as an interim show on April 3 2023.

As of the 2026 Disney World schedule, EPCOT Forever is not currently part of the regular nightly entertainment lineup. The show, which served as a "nostalgic bridge" featuring classic EPCOT music and kite-jet-skis, was replaced by the massive, high-tech nighttime spectacular "Luminous the Symphony of Us" in late 2023. While Disney occasionally brings back "EPCOT Forever" as a temporary filler during technical upgrades or for special "After Hours" events (which are running through September 2026), it is not the main show. For the 2026 season, the focus is on Luminous, which utilizes the permanent barges in World Showcase Lagoon with advanced pyrotechnics, fountains, and a more contemporary soundtrack. If you are a fan of the vintage EPCOT themes found in EPCOT Forever, you might still catch snippets of that music during the 2026 International Flower & Garden Festival (running March to June), but the full fireworks show remains in the Disney archives for now.
