Epcot is often unfairly labeled as the "educational" or "adult" park, but for a 10-year-old, it is arguably one of the most engaging parks at Walt Disney World. At age ten, children are usually tall enough to ride every major attraction, including the high-thrill "Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind," which is widely considered one of the best roller coasters in the world. They are also at a perfect age to enjoy "Test Track," where they can design their own virtual concept car and then "test" it on a high-speed track. The World Showcase offers a "Kidcot" program and scavenger hunts (like those featuring Remy or Olaf) that turn exploring different countries into an interactive game rather than a boring walk. Ten-year-olds are also usually old enough to appreciate the "Ratatouille" 4D adventure and the Frozen Ever After ride without finding them too "babyish." With the addition of more intellectual property-themed attractions and the sheer scale of the food and technology exhibits, Epcot provides a sophisticated yet exciting experience that hits the "tween" sweet spot of wanting thrills while still enjoying the Disney magic.
