The short answer to whether or not Epcot is for kids is yes — the park is a great place for kids. It's not as obviously kid-friendly as theme parks such as the Magic Kingdom Park, but Epcot has both attractions and activities that are geared toward children.

You can absolutely purchase a single-day park ticket to visit both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. You'll need to add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket in order to visit both parks in one day.

Of course, with so much to ride, eat, see, and do, you could spend at least one full day at Epcot, and some guests staying for a week opt to visit more than once, coming back another afternoon to take advantage of the restaurants and entertainment.

Now if your daughter is aged 0-10, there is plenty for her to do at Disney. Probably more so than in any other theme park in the world. There are character dining experiences that allow your princess to meet their princesses for breakfast or lunch or dinner.

However, the Universal Studios age recommendation is a fairly mature 8 years-old. If they're younger they probably won't be able to appreciate much of the entertainment or be able to go on many rides, but families do have a fun experience when taking a trip together.
