EVA Air has once again earned SKYTRAX's 5-Star Airline certification. Only 10 airlines in the world have been awarded 5-Star certifications and EVA is the only one in Taiwan to receive the distinction.

Only selected airlines worldwide achieve the APEX Five-Star Global Airline Award, and SAS proudly joins this elite group. The APEX Five Star Global Airline Award status was awarded at the 2023 APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony in Long Beach, California, during APEX/IFSA Global EXPO.
APEX CEO Dr. Joe Leader congratulated Air France, stating that “Air France's ascent to Five Star level is not just an incredible recognition of the dedication of their team members, but also a reflection of the exquisite French culture and flair that they are integrating more deeply across the airline.”
As expected, most of the major airlines have all achieved seven out of seven stars. Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin are all on the list. But what's interesting is the number of smaller airlines who have a seven-star ranking. Jetstar, AirAsiaX and EasyJet all made the 7-star list.
However, Skytrax ratings are based on a variety of criteria and Emirates may not have met all the requirements for achieving five stars. For example, Skytrax looks at factors such as cabin comfort, in-flight entertainment options, food quality and customer service standards when determining their star rating system.
Lufthansa. Lufthansa has been independently rated as Europe's first and only 5-Star Airline in 2017, making it one of the 10 best premium airlines in the world. The German airline is the biggest airline within the Lufthansa Group and also a founding member of Star Alliance back in 1997.
