Whether "Grinchmas" at Universal Studios is "worth it" depends on your love for the Dr. Seuss aesthetic and your tolerance for holiday crowds. The event, which takes place in both Hollywood and Orlando, is included in the price of a standard theme park ticket, making it a great value compared to Disney's separate-ticketed Christmas parties. The highlights are the "Whoville" decorations, the crooked 65-foot Seuss-inspired tree, and the highly entertaining "Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular" stage show. The "Meet the Grinch" experience is the star of the show; the actors are famously snarky and stay perfectly in character, making for some of the best interactions in any theme park. However, because it is included with general admission, the areas can become extremely congested, and the line to meet the Grinch often exceeds 2 or 3 hours. If you go on a weekday or early in the season, the festive "Whobilation" atmosphere and the unique food (like "Who-hash") make it a holiday must-do.
