Is it better to stay in Grand Canyon or Sedona?

Do not skip the Grand Canyon. It is the epitome of a 'must see'! Sedona is awesome (be sure to take a Pink Jeep Tour) but there is still only ONE grand canyon. Park rangers have said, and i've also read that the average time spent at the GC is 45 minutes.

The town of Tusayan, which is just 15-20 minutes away from the main Visitor Center on the south rim, has a great selection of places to stay.
