Is it better to stay in Hurghada or Luxor?

Depending on the time of year,remember it is hotter in Luxor and you do not get the sea breeze. Hurghada is a typical beach holiday swimming snorkling sunbathing etc while Luxor is more educational and exciting holiday.Do both if you have the time its well worth it.
