Is it cashless at Universal Studios?

While theme parks are transitioning to cashless, many others including Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, and SeaWorld all still accept cash.

For this reason, we typically recommend you plan to bring a fanny pack, so you can skip these lockers! For guests who only have fanny packs, you must move the fanny pack around your waist (so no wearing it as a sling bag), but once it's firmly around your waist, you can hop on most rides with it.

You'll want a card, for sure. Being able to use mobile ordering features is really nice and requires a card. I can't speak for the rest of Florida but I found during my last trip to Disney (early Dec) cards were a lot easier to use.

Most of Universal Orlando's rides allow you to wear a fanny pack. The Incredible Hulk, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit & Velocicoaster are the only attractions that require ALL items including cellphones be put into a locker.
