Is it good to go to Disney in November?

November is a great time to visit as the Florida weather finally cools down this time of year, plus there are so many festive holiday events throughout Disney World. Be sure to feast on some delicious holiday treats as well as some Thanksgiving-inspired meals.

November is widely considered one of the best months to visit both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California. The primary appeal lies in the mild weather and the transition into the festive holiday season. In early to mid-November, the parks are often fully decorated for Christmas, and special events like "Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party" and the "EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays" begin. In 2026, the crowds are generally moderate during the first two weeks, though there is a significant spike during "Jersey Week" (when New Jersey schools have break) and the week of Thanksgiving. The weather in Orlando is pleasantly cool compared to the summer humidity, while Anaheim enjoys some of its clearest and most comfortable days of the year. For travelers who want to experience the "magic" of the holidays without the extreme peak-week crowds of late December, the period immediately following Veterans Day up until the weekend before Thanksgiving is often the "sweet spot" for a 2026 visit.
