Is it okay to wear a shirt at a water park?

You are expected to wear swim suits, as the chances of getting wet are astronomically high. However, sports clothes, such as quick-drying t-shirts would be a good idea, especially if you are prone to getting easily burnt in the sun.

While swimming one should always wear clothes that do not hold water. Cotton has the ability to absorb water, therefore, it is best to avoid cotton clothes while swimming.

Don't be tempted to walk around barefoot – if any rides or areas do not allow water shoes, take them off only in those areas and then put water shoes right back on. Before going to the park, make sure everyone's feet are washed and cleaned.

We've been to a few water parks, and some provide towels while others do not. And the ones that do often give you towels that are too small, and limit you to one per person. So, we always bring along a few beach towels. When the water fun is done, you'll want to get back into dry clothes.

To participate in the water park activities, you must wear lined swimsuits. We don't allow guests to enter the water areas wearing street clothes, cut-off shorts, denim shorts or athletic clothing. Because they can damage the rides, we also do not allow swimwear with buttons, snaps, rivets or zippers.
