Is it rude to talk on the phone in the car? And that's a manners no-no, etiquette experts say. Even when people talk on cell phones in the privacy of their cars - which can be dangerous - it annoys etiquette experts. They think most of the incessant chatter is a status thing and could just as easily take place on home or office phones.
