Is it safe to fly With Turkish Airways?

I have flown with Turkish Airlines to NYC and LA twice from Istanbul and the service in both instances was simply outstanding. For International flights in/out of Istanbul I would only ever use Turkish Airlines. Their safety record is excellent and the service they provide, in every way, is outstanding.
