Is it worth going to the Creation Museum?

The Creation Museum has a lot to offer. It is a 75,000 square foot museum containing many displays and information as well as a friendly staff. Included in the price of an admission ticket are state-of-the-art carefully crafted displays, a petting zoo, and botanical gardens.

You can easily spend at least a whole day visiting the Ark, the Ararat Ridge Zoo, enjoying a meal, and catching one of our dynamic, world-class speakers at the Answers Center. It will take 5–6 hours to take in the entire experience at a leisurely pace.

The two locations are just under an hour away from each other so it would be tricky to do both in one day. Seeing the actually size of the ark in person is really impressive and awe inspiring.

The Ark Encounter like many attractions is more busy during the weekends. If possible visit during the weekdays. But if you cannot weekends are fine. We visited on Memorial Day weekend 2023 and although it was busy in some areas the crowds were able to spread out to the many attractions.
