Is it worth it to buy JetBlue points?

If you want to get an expensive flight or vacation package before you have the required points amount, it might be worth buying them. Or, if you are a Mosaic member you can redeem points for upgrades at a significantly reduced rate, thus increasing point value. But in most cases, buying JetBlue points is not worth it.
