Given the choice, I'd stay in Taormina over Giardini Naxos anyday. Taormina is more expensive but it's much nicer in terms of hotels, restaurants, shops and views. Giardini Naxos is not much more than a small town around budget motels.

There is a lot to see and do on Paros but there is also a lot to see and do on Naxos! It is always a difficult question to answer and we love them both, a lot! If you have time I recommend you try and spent a bit of time on both. Our personal favourite is Paros but only by a small margin.
