Is Kronk good or bad?

Trivia. Despite being Yzma's henchman, Kronk is not considered to be a truly evil villain or an extremely dangerous enemy of Emperor Kuzco. So it is considered that he is just an average on/off-again villain since he is also good friends with Kuzco (however, Kronk was perfectly fine poisoning Kuzco in the first film).

Within the narrative of Disney's The Emperor's New Groove, Kronk is fundamentally "good" despite his initial role as the henchman to the villainous Yzma. He is characterized by a profound sense of childlike innocence, a love for baking (famous for his spinach puffs), and a literal "shoulder angel and devil" who debate his moral choices. While he technically participates in the plot to dispose of Kuzco, he consistently fails to be "evil" because his natural instinct is to be helpful and kind. For example, he cannot bring himself to throw Kuzco over a waterfall and eventually befriends Pacha's family. In the sequel, Kronk's New Groove, and the television series, he is fully redeemed as a hero and a productive member of the community. Most fans and critics classify him as a "lovable oaf" who was simply working for the wrong person due to his misplaced loyalty and naivety, rather than any genuine malice or desire for power.
