Is Lagoon plus size friendly?

Lagoon says its rides are designed for 95 percent of the population, but there are several like “The Samarai” that have larger seats for bigger customers. According to Lagoon's policy on its website, because of safety, guests of unusual body proportions, whether height or weight, may not be able to ride.

Lagoon Amusement Park in Utah is generally considered "moderately" plus-size friendly, but your experience will depend heavily on your body shape and the specific ride's restraint system. Modern "thrill" rides like Cannibal and Primordial utilize lap-bar restraints that are often more accommodating than older over-the-shoulder harnesses. However, older coasters like The Bat or Colossus can be tight for those with larger midsections or broad shoulders. In 2026, Lagoon has improved its accessibility by placing "Test Seats" at the entrance of major attractions, allowing you to discreetly check the fit before waiting in a long line. The park's "X-Venture" rides tend to have the strictest limits, while the classic family rides and the park's scenic train are accessible to almost everyone. If in doubt, "Test Seats" are your best friend to avoid the "walk of shame."
