Is London Kings Cross station the same as St Pancras?

King's Cross railway station and St Pancras railway station are not the same. King's Cross is home to a whole range of regional and intercity trains which serve UK destinations to the north of London, such as Cambridge, Durham and Newcastle, and even as far north as Scotland.

When you alight from a national rail train, simply walk to the end of the platform where you will find ticket barriers and an exit onto Kings Cross Square. Turn right and cross this large pedestrianised area, walking towards the grand red brick clock tower of St. Pancras hotel.

Eurostar recommends that you get to London St Pancras around an hour and 15 minutes before departure. This will give you enough time to clear security and passport control (for both the UK and France), and then wait in the departure lounge until the platform is announced.
